中國國民黨主席朱立倫與中共總書記習近平今天上午在北京會面，朱立倫表達年輕世代盼兩岸能在「九二共識」基礎上於亞太組織攜手合作，習近平希望認真思考兩岸關係的路如何走。
這場六年來國共領導人首次會面的「朱習會」，上午十時卅分在北京人民大會堂舉行，習近平親自迎接朱立倫等人，雙方簡短握手寒暄後，到福建廳展開對談。
習近平和朱立倫在談話時，都回顧了國、共兩黨致力兩岸關係的過往，習近平談話時特別強調兩岸關係當前處於「新的、重要的節點」。
他說，兩岸關係的路應該如何走，是擺在兩岸所有政黨和社會各界前的一個重大問題，「攸關中華民族及國家未來、攸關兩岸民眾福祉，需要大家認真思考」。
習近平表示，國共兩黨應該加強交流、總結經驗、開拓創新，擘劃兩黨關係發展新前景，共同開創關係未來發展，建立兩岸命運共同體，「我願與朱主席深入交換意見」。
朱立倫在稍後發表談話、展望未來時，則側重兩岸交流合作，並盼在「九二共識」基礎上，台灣能有更多國際發展空間。
